The 2024 Terry Fox Run took place in Mission on Sunday (Sept. 15).
Approximately 75 runners participated in the 44th annual event, held at Fraser River Heritage Park. Participants had the choice of running/walking a one or five kilometre route.
According to the official website, the Mission run surpassed its goal of $8,500 by raising a total of $9,555 so far.
The annual Terry Fox Run has become a fall tradition in Canada, with more than 650 communities, big and small, urban and rural, English and French, fundraising for cancer research.
