Event is a fundraiser for the Mission Association for Community Living

The Mission Association for Community Living (MACL) hosted its annual Welcome Summer Gala and fundraiser on Saturday night at the Best Western Plus Mission City Lodge.

The event featured a silent and live auction, a buffet dinner, games and draws, and plenty of fun for all in attendance.

About MACL:

The Mission Association for Community Living (MACL) was founded in 1958 by a group of parents who wanted to ensure that educational opportunities were available to their children with special needs. An educational program was created and it operated until Special Education classes were developed in public schools.

From its beginnings as a grassroots family-led organization, MACL has maintained a strong commitment to responding to the needs of individuals and families. As Mission’s largest, non-profit agency, MACL has been providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities for 60 years.

MACL believes that a healthy community encourages the involvement of everyone.
