The Sports Car Club of B.C. has announced that the July 15-16 race weekend at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course will be in support of the Mission Hospice Society.

The Mission Hospice Charity Weekend will feature races for all classes, including modified sedans and sports cars, open wheel (formula) and sports racing cars.

Vintage race cars will also be racing on Sunday.

The feature race of the weekend will be the Northwest Formula Continental series.

The Mission Hospice Society has been providing compassionate care and support to the dying and bereaved since its founding in 1985.

Fundraising is important to the society because it provides its services free of charge.

There will be a variety of fun charity activities during both days, including hot laps in exotic sports cars for a donation to the Mission Hospice Society.

All you have to do is purchase your ride tickets to enjoy a few laps around the track and get to meet local race drivers.
