Leq’á:mel First Nation will host a Truth and Reconciliation Day event at Xa: Ytem Interpretive Centre in Mission on Saturday (Sept. 28).
The gathering is slated for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 35087 Lougheed Highway location.
Bannock and traditional tea will be provided. The event will also feature cedar brushing, smudging, a 360 camera, speakers, caricature drawings, candle lighting, cedar rose making and a comedian.
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is Sept. 30.
