A fun winter video made by the Abbotsford Police Department has been viewed more than 11,000 times in just one day.

In it, one of the department’s youth officers jumps on a sled at the top of a hill at the Rotary Stadium, as a young sledder giggles.

“Ready, set, go!” the child says.

“You gotta push me!” the officer replies. The child pushes him and continues giggling as his mother cheers him on.

The video is available to watch on the APD Facebook page.

“Schools out no problem,” the post said. “Our AbbyPD Youth Officers continue to find ways to connect with the kids and youth within our community. We think Cst. Dyck had way too much fun today.”

There is more snow in the forecast for Abbotsford beginning Wednesday evening through to Thursday, with heavy falling snow expected to accumulate up to 10 cm within just a few hours.
