Local police, fire, ambulance personnel, sheriffs and others participated in the Sirens for Life blood drive yesterday (Thursday) in Abbotsford.
The event was held at Emmanuel Mennonite Church on Clearbrook Road and included a community barbecue.
It was one of many such events held across B.C. in conjunction with Canadian Blood Services.
