Mission City Farmers Market had some extra entertainment on Saturday as a Shimmy Mob took place.
Shimmy Mob is a dance performance group that creates awareness and raises funds for women’s and children’s shelters in participating communities around the world.
On May 14, performances took place in 202 cities, including Mission.
All of the ladies who made up the Mission Shimmy Mob team agreed that the Mission Transition House was the right cause to support.
Local Shimmy Mob performances also took place Mission's Save-On-Foods and at the Mission Leisure Centre.
