Volunteer with hospice society

Mission Hospice Society needs more volunteers.

The society is a non-profit organization that offers support to people dealing with terminal illness or the loss of a loved one.

They offer support though services such as bereavement support, community companying and the Christine Morrison Hospice. They also participate at community events to create awareness of the services. Volunteers are an essential and integral part of the society.

If you would like to help out, contact Chris Boyes, coordinator of volunteer programs, at 604-826-2235, or send an e-mail to cboyes@missionhospice.bc.ca.

The next training session is scheduled for the fall of 2011.
