Magic show a fundraiser for Mission Rotary

If you enjoy magic, and like supporting the community, then AbracaDAZZLE is for you.

The Rotary Club of Mission (Sunrise) is holding a fundraiser/magic show on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Clarke Theatre.

AbracaDAZZLE is a multi-media magic show suitable for all family members, with magician John Kaplan.

Tickets are $25 and are available at the door, at the Mission Leisure Centre and at Sue’s Copy Place.

The proceeds from this fantastic show will go to benefit families in Mission. The Rotary Club supports and implements several programs including:

q The Starfish Backpack program

q The Dolly Parton Imagination Library

q Scholarships for Post Secondary Students in Mission through the Mission Community Foundation

q Circle of Friends- a grief and loss program for children run by the Mission Hospice

q Camp Jubilee (where we send Mission Kids every year who would not otherwise be able to enjoy a camping experience

q Challenge Day, a program teaching empathy and social responsibility run by Mission Public Schools and Fraser House

Rotary also funds some of the free public swims at the Mission Leisure Centre and other community activities.
