A winter tradition, the Nutcracker, returns to Mission

A true winter tradition in Mission, the Fraser Valley Academy of Dance will return to the Clarke Theatre for a 14th presentation of the Nutcracker, on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Once again, artistic director John C. Carney is presenting his new choreography of The Nutcracker Re:Imagined, created in 2021 as a stream-lined one-act ballet with everyone’s favourite dances from the Nutcracker.

Performances are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and tickets are reserved seating ($18-$30) and available online at fvad.tix.com or contact FVAD at info@fvad or 604-826-0097 for in-person or telephone orders.

The entire family can enjoy the magic of this winter performance set to Tchaikovsky’s delightful musical score.
