On Saturday, May 28 at 8 p.m., Mission’s Westminster Abbey will host a Contemplative Evening of Sung Prayer.
The event is inspired by the music and prayer of Taizé.
The songs of Taizé are simple prayer song from the ecumenical community of Taizé, France.
Guided by Cathy AJ Hardy and accompanied by a 35-voice choir of young men from the Monastery High School and a team of musicians from the Fraser Valley, this evening is sure to entertain and inspire. Donations will be accepted at the door.
