“We’re tremendously excited to have Brad Paisley headline the fifth annual Rockin’ River festival,” concert organizer Kenny Hess says. “Brad Paisley is one of the world’s top country acts and having him at Mission Raceway will be the Lower Mainland’s top country show of the year.”

Paisley has placed 20 singles at the top of the charts, the latest a duet with Carrie Underwood, “Remind Me.” Paisley’s current album, This Is Country Music, debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and is his sixth consecutive studio album to debut as the nation’s country bestseller. Paisley’s 2012 Virtual Reality World Tour played to more than one million fans and his next album, Wheelhouse, will be released April 9. His current single is “Southern Comfort Zone.”

Rockin’ River Music Festival takes place Aug. 15-17 at Mission Raceway Park and will feature other big acts, like Big ‘n’ Rich and Joe Nichols, along with some of B.C.’s and Canada’s best country talent, to be announced in the months to come.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Brad Paisley at our festival,” says Hess. “We are ready for the biggest party this Valley has ever seen.”
