Broadway On Ice comes to Mission Leisure Centre

Mission Skating Club’s final gala takes place on March 14

The Mission Skating Club’s season began in September and culminates in a final gala on March 14.

This year-end, fundraising gala – called Broadway On Ice – will showcase all the skaters from the club’s Private Ice and StarSkate sessions.

Doors will open at 6:40 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. at the Mission Leisure Centre. Admission is by donation.

There will be an auction, 50/50 and raffle starting at 6 p.m. to raise funds, which help keep local skating programs affordable. These programs include: Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, CanPower, Special Olympics, Starskate and Private Ice sessions.

The public is invited to come out and cheer on the skaters as they perform to the music from Broadway.
