Local rock band Stoned Moses needs your votes to succeed in this year’s Fox Seeds contest, put on by radio station 99.3 FM.
The Mission band is currently recording three songs and their new music will be up on the Fox Vancouver Seeds website for voters to check out.
Once you’ve signed up, you can log in every day and vote often, said Isaac Helmes, the newest member of the group.
Fans can vote between May 13 to May 29 and the top 50 bands will proceed to round two. Twenty acts will be chosen in the next round and they will get a chance to perform for judges in Vancouver. The winner will be announced in July.
The band placed well in last year’s competition and Helmes is hoping fans will help them succeed this year.
Stoned Moses plays throughout the community during the year, and will be jamming next at Captain’s Cabin on May 14, starting at 7 p.m.
