Mission Secondary presents The Wizard Of Oz

This lively and energetic musical features classic songs like Somewhere Over the Rainbow and endearing characters like Scarecrow and Toto.

In its inaugural year, Mission Senior Secondary presents the classic musical The Wizard of Oz.

For a school facing huge transitions this year, the play’s themes are perfect reminders that you need a brain, a heart, courage, and some good friends to see you through any adventure.

This lively and energetic musical features classic songs like Somewhere Over the Rainbow and endearing characters like Scarecrow, Glinda, and Toto.

Performances run from Thursday, March 3 to Saturday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Clarke Theatre in Mission. Tickets are  $12 each, and can be purchased at the Mission Secondary office or at the door.

Friday, March 4 is a dress-up, sing-along night so come in costume as your favorite character, ready to remind Dorothy to “follow the yellow brick road” and to laugh the day away in the merry old land of Oz.
