The Mission Twilight Concert Series at Fraser River Heritage Park is back.

Starting Wednesday, July 6, at 7 p.m. and on every Wednesday evening until the end of August, live music will take place, rain or shine.

Organizers have a full roster of musicians, from a large variety of musical genres, set to play this summer and are excited to have the public come out with a chair or blanket and enjoy the shows.

The Special Olympics volunteers will be there to help with parking and the Blackberry Kitchen will be running the canteen offering goodies to have while watching the show.

The view of the mountains is the perfect backdrop for the performers!

This year’s Line up:

July 6 – The grand opening night has a fabulous local cover band, The Crayons!, so make sure you have your dancing shoes on.

July 13 – Early Spirit features Gabriel Dubreuil (violin) and Jay Knutson (guitar and vocals). This duo will lead you through the musical mosaic of their own unique West Coast “Rockin’ Folkin’ Rollin’ Jazzin’ Celtic Swing-Grass.”

July 20 – Jennifer Scott and Rene Worst will entice the crowd into the world of jazz classics. Jennifer is a vocalist extraordinaire that will knock people’s socks off.

July 27 – Thistle Dew is a trio of vocalists (Laura Wheeler, Laurel Paracy and Julia Ziegler) who sing in glorious three-part harmony while trading off on various ukes, guitars and merlins. Very folky and very fun.

August 3 – An evening of the blues with the infamous Brandon Isaak.

August 10 – Fabulous singer/songwriter Brennen Sinclair.

August 17 – The up and coming country music of Kassandra Clack.

August 24 – Time to get your high brow hillbilly on with JD Miner.

August 31 – Roads Unknown round off the summer of music with an evening of original songs!
