Music of the Night: The Concert Tour is coming to Mission.

The show, taking place on May 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Clarke Foundation Theatre, features B.C and international artists performing in celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s upcoming 75th birthday in 2023.

The fully professional cast performed the first two legs of this tour to packed houses in 2019. The cast starts the tour again in April/May with Lower Mainland concert dates in Burnaby, Surrey, Mission, New Westminster, West Vancouver, and Maple Ridge.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legacy and his compositions are some of the most popular and celebrated pieces of musical theatre ever written. His works include Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Blvd, and more.

The cast is composed of musical theatre veterans including Tenor Nic Kyle who is familiar with the stage and the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Kyle is an internationally acclaimed tenor – now living in both Abbotsford and New Zealand - who has performed in London’s West End and played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in Australia and New Zealand Tours and is currently in a touring production of Shrek through New Zealand. The cast also includes BC Interior’s own Melina Shein, who stunned audiences with her high-noted Phantom vocals.

The show is presented by Sound the Alarm: Music/Theatre and will play in 12 cities across the province.
