Nutcracker returns to Mission with Fraser Valley Academy of Dance performance

The Fraser Valley Academy of Dance graced the stage of Clarke Theatre in Mission on Saturday (Dec. 10) for its 14th performance of the Nutcracker.

Artistic director John C. Carney presented fresh choreography set to Tchaikovsky’s score for The Nutcracker Re:Imagined. Carney created the stream-lined one-act ballet in 2021 and offered the show once again for Mission audiences in 2022.

The dance academy offered both an afternoon and evening performance on Saturday.
