You can enjoy three sets of live music from Maple Ridge locals The Dusk Riders and Knudson and Connaughton on Friday, Oct. 6 at The Stage in Mission.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the music starts at 9 p.m. Admission by donation.
The Dusk Riders are two ’80s kids accompanied by a young old timey banjo player who keeps them classy. Influences range from grunge greats Soundgarden to folk heroes like Richie Havens. An original folk rock trio from Maple Ridge will leave you wanting more.
Caden Knudson and Aaron Connaughton are the accountant and trucker acoustic folk duo playing intricate fingerstyle guitar accompanied by driving double bass, tied together with smooth harmonies.
Original rootsy bluesy songs about life and loneliness in the Fraser Valley, as well as dancing spiders. Prepare for an interesting new perspective on traditional styles of music.
