Trooper will perform at 2013 Rockin’ River Festival

Mission's Rockin' River event takes place Aug. 15-17

Trooper will be joining the stellar lineup at this summer’s Rockin’ River Music Festival.

Trooper, one of Canada’s top-selling bands, will Raise a Little Hell at the show along with Brad Paisley, Big and Rich, and Joe Nichols. Chris Young, the 2011 American Country Awards breakthrough artist of the year, also confirmed his attendance last month.

Trooper’s 10 studio albums have earned them multiple gold and platinum awards. Their hit song Hot Shots continues to be one of Universal Music Canada’s best selling catalog CDs and one of the country’s most enduring party soundtracks.

“We’re excited to add one of Canada’s favourite bands to the biggest party the valley has ever seen,” concert organizer Kenny Hess said. “Trooper is a party band and a perfect fit for the Rockin’ River kickoff party.”

This year’s Rockin’ River Music Festival takes place Aug. 15-17 at Mission Raceway Park. Information on tickets and camping is available at rockinriverfest.com.
