The Envision Financial Twilight Concert Series accelerates with a little local flavour and a dash of northern velocity to kick off the summer season.

On Friday, June 29, local performer Jada Klein will bring her sultry, wistful voice to the Mission stage for the concert at 7 p.m.

Klein is a young Canadian R&B/pop singer and songwriter whose career shot off after she won the 2014 Valley Voices Vocal Competition.

Every time she appears on a stage in the Fraser Valley, she gathers more fans and the Twilight team are delighted to have her perform. Klein’s first single, Puzzle Pieces, garnered her the 2017 Fraser Valley Music Award for Excellence in Performance by a Youth Artist.

Following the festivities of Canada Day what better way to celebrate than to head to the park and listen to the ever-popular Speed Control on Wednesday, July 4.

Straight out of -40 degrees in Yukon, this power trio heat up the stage and the audience every time they perform. One of the hardest working bands in all of eastern and northern Canada, they have found time between touring and performing to release three albums. They are on the road for six to seven months per year and have performed in every province and territory of Canada as well as several tours in the United States.

July 4 is also Full Cupboard night and Envision Financial staff will be on site collecting for the Mission Food Bank. At this time of year, it is critical to donate a non-perishable food item or cash.

The Envision Financial Twilight Concerts run every Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. rain or shine. Bring a blanket, bring a chair, and enjoy a perfect evening in Mission.
