Charlotte Diamond has become one of Canada’s most prominent family performers

The Envision Twilight Concert Series welcomes Tangent to Fraser River Heritage Park on Friday, Aug. 12 from 7 to 8 p.m. Tangent is an offshoot of the originally scheduled group, August.

Rae Armour began her career with a popular rock band from Edmonton, has opened for Faith Hill, and has released two CDs. Her warm, dusky voice and musical versatility pleases fans of both roots and rock.

Linda Kidder has toured with kd lang, Gary Fjellgaard, Ian Tyson, and Michelle Wright. She has done studio work with artists from Bon Jovi to Rita MacNeil. Linda is one of the busiest musicians in Vancouver.

Wit, wisdom and hilarity weave through their musical tapestry.  These women have joined forces to create a powerful musical experience, with Rae on acoustic guitar, Linda on bass and joining them for this show, Daryl Jahnke on guitar.

They are equally at home on stage or on the back porch combining their unique blend of folk, country, bluegrass and pop with their own original style and panache.

Aug. 12 is Envision’s special “night of thanks” to Twilight audiences. The series sponsor will offer fresh Chilliwack corn on the cob to the first 500 concert-goers in appreciation of their support of the concert series.

The Art in the Park program features Gina Esche’s natural way to body wellness and Betty Sandmark’s beaded jewelry.
