The Abbotsford News wants readers to let us know about their Christmas light displays in Abbotsford and Mission.
Send us your address, the name of the family/individual hosting the display, and a brief description of what it includes.
Be sure to include the dates and times it will be lit, and whether any money is being collected for charity. Please include a high-resolution horizontal photo.

ABBOTSFORD
34964 Orchard Drive
Leya, Livia and Daniel’s festive North Pole is filled with lots of lights, a giant star, a 15-foot Christmas trees, reindeer with Santa’s sleigh and more. The lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m. nightly.
2061 Orchard Drive
The Lawson family wishes everyone a merry Christmas with a display of colourful lights, snowman families, inflatables and festive characters. The display runs daily from 5 p.m. to midnight until Jan. 1.
3871 Teslin Drive
Jordan Sargeant’s display features several light-up Christmas blow-ups, including some vintage ones, and lights on the house. The display includes a nativity scene, a dozen snowmen and some Santas. Visitors can take an “elfie” with the photo opp on scene. The display can be viewed until Christmas Day.
2774 Maple Street
Dave and Catharine Goldbaum have gone all out with their Christmas lights for the last 11 years, and they’re always adding more. Their display includes The Grinch, penguins, a horse and carriage, a train and much more. The lights are on from 5 to midnight daily. Feel free to walk up the driveway for a better look. The display is dedicated in loving memory to their nephew Michael Coleman.
33159 Townshipline Road
The Keis family’s display on Matsqui Prairie is filled with more than 100 vintage and modern decorations, inflatables and more. For a closer look, fell free to slowly drive through the U-shaped driveway. Please do not walk in the yard. The lights are on daily from 4:30 to 10 p.m. until Jan. 1.
3863 Kensington Court
The Hood family’s display includes inflatable characters, handmade wooden cutouts, rope-light figures and thousands of lights. The lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m. until Dec. 31. Donations are collected for Cyrus Centre for at-risk and homeless youth in Abbotsford.
3084 McMillan Road
The owners add a little more each year. This display features a mix of inflatables, mesh pop-ups, oversized ornaments, and many colourful lights. The display turns on at dusk and runs until at least midnight until mid-January.
34223 Redwood Avenue
The Hawkins family has a mix of lights, blowups, wire decorations and inflatables on the roof. The display runs nightly from 5:45 to 10:30 p.m.
1918 Knox Terrace
Ralf and Janet Gauer’s display includes seven Christmas trees, four white birch trees, an angel, and thousands of lights. The tree in the middle of the property features 3,000 lights, and there is a star with nine 11-foot strings of lights. The display runs daily from 5 to 11 p.m. until mid-January.
33687 Marshall Road
The Van Ek household’s display includes lots of flashing lights and a few blowups. It is lit up all night until mid-January.
1405 Kaslo Court
The Bench Family’s display includes thousands of flashing lights and blowups. It runs from 5 to 10 p.m. from Dec. 4 to 31. Turn your radio to 107.9 to hear the light show.
32752 Boult Avenue
The Drake family runs their display of inflatables, projections, lights, a woodland forest scene and music-coordinated light shows daily from 5:30 to 10 p.m. until Jan. 1. Photos opportunities are available inside the twinkling light tunnel and a chalet for kids to sit inside.
31944 Sunrise Crescent
At the centrepiece of this display at Tabor Home is a bus that has been transformed with more than 1,000 twinkling lights. Reindeer lead the way, getting ready to pull the bus up into the night sky. The lights are on all night starting at 4 p.m.
32273 Adair Avenue
The Kreschuk family’s display features blow-ups, handmade wood creations and lots of lights, and takes a few days to set up. Open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight.
31887 Gabriola Court
The Singh family’s display includes hand-made items and many unique lights. They have everything from reindeer and Christmas trees to Santa’s sleigh. The family encourages donations to the local food bank or any organization of choice. The display runs daily from 5 to 10 p.m.
2924 Royal Street
This display is dedicated to Mike Herd, who passed away from cancer. Mike and his wife Karen presented their annual display for many years. It features thousands of lights and traditional holiday figures and favourite characters, including Frosty the Snowman, Elmo, Tigger, Snoopy and Winnie the Pooh.
3791 Balsam Crescent
The Johnson family is showcasing thousands of lights, including Santa’s sleigh and a herd of reindeer, Frosty, penguins sliding down a vintage Noel sign, and lots more. The display is bigger and brighter than ever!
2168 Zinfandel Drive
The Opp family’s display runs from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and turns into a dancing display with favourite Christmas songs on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 to 10 p.m.
MISSION
Corner of Blueberry and Melburn
This display includes plenty of lights, fun Winterland creatures and some surprise Christmas guests from a galaxy far far away. There is also a box where you can drop off non-perishable food donations for the food bank or any donations for local animal rescues. The lights are on daily from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
34215 Ferndale Avenue
This display features as 20-foot reindeer and snowman, and the house is fully decorated in lights. It is open daily from 4 to 10 p.m. until Jan. 1. Other homes along the street are also fully decorated.
32593 Cherry Avenue
Chris and Emily Steeve’s display includes projectors and strings, various decorated trees and plants, reindeer, present lights and a Christmas unicorn. It is lit up from 4:30 to 11 p.m. daily.
33445 Third Avenue
S.A.H. Disaster Restoration and BC Trauma Cleaning Group hosts a light display from 5 p.m. to midnight daily until the end of January.
7491 Mary Street
Ed Swanson’s display features blue and white twinkling icicles, sleigh and reindeer, and a snowman on the carport rooftop. While out walking in nearby Mission Heritage Park, the lights reflect off the huge glass windows. The display is lit up from dusk to dawn.
33596 Blueberry Drive
This display consists of 11,000 lights, shooting stars, candy canes, a fully decorated roof and lots more. The lights are on daily from 5 to 11 p.m. until Jan. 1.
