PHOTOS: Abbotsford Agrifair 2024 day one

Event continues on Saturday (Aug. 3) and Sunday (Aug. 4) with more activities for all ages

 The 115th edition of the Abbtosford Agrifair returned to the grounds of Exhibiton Park with a an afternoon and evening of activity on Friday (Aug. 2).

The Northern Lights Motorsports Demo Derby took over the Agrifair Thunderbowl Arena at 5:30 p.m. and the Extreme Dog Show had several performances.

All the games and rides of the midway returned, as well live music in the evening.

Ryan Cook, a chainsaw carver and a judge on The Discovery Channel TV show A Cut Above, also was busy on Friday and will be around all weekend.

 

 

The agricultural components were also on-hand with 4H open horse shows. All Star Wrestling took over the Air Cadets Building with two shows and will be back all weekend.

More activity is planned for Saturday (Aug. 3), withthe Grey Cup Festival Truck, which will be on-site on Saturday only from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
