Cycling4Diversity Food Drive in Mission on Sunday

Cyclists going door-to-door accepting donations

The annual Cycling4Diversity (C4D) Food Drive is set to take place on Sunday.

Cyclists will be travelling around Mission, knocking on doors and looking for donations to help those in need.

“We’ve had great success in collecting items in bringing positive energy to homes that may need it in the past. It’s an honour to do it again with members from our team,” said C4D founder Ken Herar.

The food drive takes place Sunday, Dec. 17 from noon to 5 p.m.

“I made a promise to Ken’s dad, the late Tok Herar, before he recently passed away a few weeks ago, that we would continue with our third annual food drive,” said C4D executive director Anne-Marie Sjoden. “Since he was always doing something to help, I wanted to continue to honour our commitment we made to him earlier this year.”

If people would like to donate to the campaign they can get contact Herar at 604-615-2499 or Sjoden at 778-241-9613.
