The grand prize is this Mars bar-themed duffel bag

Attend the Spooky Skate, send in a photo and win prizes

The Leisure Centre's Spooky Skate happens Oct. 28 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The Mission Record wants to see your best Halloween costume, and we’re prepared to make it worth your while.

The Mission Leisure Centre is hosting a Spooky Skate on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and everyone is invited to put on their Halloween best for the event.

When you’re there, get a photo of yourself in costume, and e-mail them to The Record. We’ll post them up on our Facebook page, and we’ll draw a handful of random entries Oct. 30 for some cool prizes.

The top prize will be a Mars bar themed-pack, which includes a duffel bag, hockey jersey, toque and a handful of the tasty treats.

Plus, there will be six other draws for a six-pack of Mars bars.

These specially marked candy bars have a code inside that when entered at marsbar.ca, sees $5 donated to Mission Leisure Centre as part of the Play Your Part campaign.

Please e-mail your photos to news@missioncityrecord.com, with the subject, Mars bar contest. Please ensure you include your name and a phone number where you can be reached.
