Mission Record graphic artist Kevin Plastow (right) won first place in the Ad Design Award category at the 2014 Ma Murray Community Newspaper Awards for his work on an ad for Lanka Jewels. The award ceremony was held April 26 at River Rock Casino. Plastow was presented the award by B.C. and Yukon Community Newspaper Association President Chuck Bennett.
