Hospice puts fall fashion on the runway

Mission Hospice Society will be holding the Fashionista Fall Fashion Show next Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Cedarbrooke Chateau from 7-9 p.m.

The catwalk will feature Mission firefighters and local celebrity models, who will be wearing fashions from First Avenue clothiers like Uncommon Threds, Rex Cox Men’s Wear, and Goody Too Shoes.

Bring some friends, and enjoy a glass of wine with a dessert buffet while browsing through vendor tables featuring clothing and jewelry.

Tickets are $25 each and available from the presenting shops, and there will be door prizes for spectators.

This fundraiser follows up on the Aug. 27 inaugural Motorcycle Ride for Hospice, which saw 45 riders turn out and raise $9,000 for Mission Hospice.

If you can’t make it out to the fashion show, there’s still Halloween for Hospice coming up on Oct. 29 at the 14th Avenue Pub.
