The Leq’a:mel First Nation will be performing for seniors in Cedarbrooke Chateau’s main lobby June 8 at 6:30 p.m. The Letse o squel o wel group is comprised of about 30-40 performers ranging from five to 13 years old, said Jason Thompson, Leq’a:mel’s youth coordinator and drum group coordinator.
They will do a welcome song and paddle song, and tell one or two stories in between the music. For more information call Barb Leggat at 604-820-7976.
