Mission's Adopt-A-Block Society hosted three Earth Day events

The volunteer-driven Mission Adopt-A-Block Society hosted three Earth Day themed events this past weekend, including a clean-up near its offices on Mershon Street. On Monday, society coordinator Kristin Parsons met with this Beavers group at Rolley Lake to tidy up around the popular park. And on Tuesday, 24 Grade 1 and 2 ESR Elementary School students removed a large amount of litter from the creek behind the school.
