The Hatzic Middle School musical theatre department hits the stage at the Clarke Theatre this week Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical JR.
Shows are set for tonight (May 15) and Friday (May 16) at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.
Matilda features catchy songs, memorable characters and is for audiences of all ages.
"Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved story, this high-energy musical follows Matilda, a brilliant and courageous young girl who uses her extraordinary imagination—and a touch of magic—to stand up to the formidable Miss Trunchbull and change her destiny," the synopsis reads.
