Emergency crews respond to head-on collision in Agassiz

Firefighter on scene called it a 'significant' crash; happened north of Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge

Emergency crews were called out to a head-on collision in Agassiz Saturday afternoon, Sept. 21. 

The two-vehicle crash happened just before 2 p.m., north of the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge on Highway 9.

According to crews on scene, at least two people were involved and one person had to be extricated from a vehicle.

They called it a "significant" crash.

Agassiz and Popkum firefighters, along with BC Emergency Services and RCMP were all on scene.

Traffic was backed up as a result.
