Fires at Mission homeless camps extinguished

Mission RCMP investigating whether blazes were intentionally set

Mission Fire Rescue Service extinguished fires at two homeless encampments on Sunday evening (April 13). 

According to a news release from Mission RCMP,  the detachment and fire department attended the blazes along the eastern stretches of North Railway Avenue.

Police say camps belonging to two people were destroyed in the fires but no one was injured.

RCMP are investigating whether the fires may have been intentionally set.
