Mission’s Jasmit Badesha was identified as the victim of a homicide in Toronto on Sunday (March 3).

The 25-year-old was shot near the parking lot of a residential building, according to a Toronto Police Service news release. Life-saving measures were performed by first responders but Badesha died from his injuries on the scene.

The homicide occurred in Toronto’s Bergamot Drive and Rexdale Boulevard area at approximately 11:37 p.m on Sunday.

Investigators are appealing to witnesses and those with footage or information to contact police.
