Two Ford F-350 pickup trucks were stolen from the Mission area last week.
According to the Mission RCMP’s weekly “Community Connection” crime recap, a black 2003 F-350 was stolen from 11th Avenue near Horne Street overnight on January 10-11 while a white 2000 F-350 was stolen from Raven Avenue near Wren Street between Jan.8 and 11.
The black truck was recovered in Chilliwack on Jan. 11 but the white truck has yet to be recovered.
Mounties say a white 2015 Dodge Promaster panel van was also stolen overnight on Jan. 6 from Adams Avenue. It also has yet to be found.
The vehcile thefts were three of 256 calls for service to the Mission RCMP last week.
Police received four separate calls about different groups of youth on Jan. 11.
In the Draper Street and Lougheed Highway area, several youths were banging on the door of a residence and broke a garden gnome outside, police say.
Later, a large group caused a disturbance outside the Leisure Centre and returned to swear at staff. Another group of youth were reportedly yelling in the area of 7th Avenue and Blott Street.
“Officers spoke with several of the youth and transported them home to their parents,” Mission RCMP said.
