UPDATE: Power restored for over 1,000 in Mission

The power went off for 1,183 BC Hydro customers at 7:36 a.m. after a tree fell on wires in the Fraser Crescent area on Wednesday (Sept. 11).

UPDATE (9:25 a.m.): Power was restored by BC Hydro crews at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 11).

Over 1,000 people are without power in Mission on Wednesday morning (Sept. 11). 

The power went off for 1,183 BC Hydro customers at 7:36 a.m. after a tree fell on wires in the Fraser Crescent area. 

According to the BC Hydro website, a crew is estimated to arrive by 9:05 a.m. to address the issue. 

Affected customers include those south of Woodcock Crescent, west of Grand Street and east of Nelson Street.
