A Truth and Reconciliation Day event took place on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Xa:ytem Interpretive Centre in Mission.
The event was hosted by the Leq’a:mel First Nation and featured several exhibits including demonstrations and hands on activities like bracelet weaving, candle lighting, fresh cooked bannock and tea, caricature drawing, smudging, speakers, a 360 degree camera and more.
