A group of roughly 20 men swarmed security at a Mission hotel after they were told they couldn't bring outside liquor into a wedding last week.

According to Mission RCMP,  security working the large wedding called police after the men became upset.

Police say one man punched a guard and the rest of the group were also pushing and pulling security.

A 23-year-old Abbotsford man was arrested when Mission RCMP arrived. Mounties say the arrest led the crowd to become aggressive towards police as well.

Mission RCMP say an investigation is ongoing.
