A semi truck rolled over onto the median on Highway 1, east of Chilliwack was reported in the afternoon windstorm on Nov. 4.
The windstorm has caused many power outages and downed trees across the region. A witness said that they watched the semi truck tip over, pushed by the powerful wind onto its side.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene of the truck accident on the highway in the eastbound lane at about 1 p.m., west of Annis Road.
Oil was reported leaking on the Yale Road on-ramp.
