A group of youth have presented an "ongoing issue" for a Mission liquor store, police say.
Mission RCMP say four teenagers allegedly threw things at a homeless man outside the store and chucked rocks at nearby businesses last week. Police say no injuries were reported and no damage had been done.
Officers were called to the 11th Avenue location on Jan. 2 and found a group nearby that matched the description provided by liquor store staff.
“The youth initially tried to run from police, but quickly ran out of steam and were all detained,” RCMP said.
The youths were turned over to a parent.
According to a news release from the detachment, liquor store staff said the group also tried to steal items from the store recently.
