Multiple units involved, scanner traffic says

Update: 11:01 a.m.

Firefighters are exiting the scene.

Witnesses reported an explosion in the early stages of the fire.

Original story:

There are reports of a fire at the the Harrison Bay Resort and RV Park.

Scanner traffic indicates multiple units are involved in the blaze.

B.C. Hydro is being called in to shut off power to the entire resort as firefighters work to bring the blaze under control. Multiple water tankers have been called out to the scene.

An excavator has been called to the scene to give firefighters access to more buildings.
