Mission RCMP are investigating a theft at a convenience store on 7th Avenue and Hurd Street last weekend.

According to a news release, two youths entered the store at roughly 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 12 and began putting items into their pockets.  An employee locked the door and confronted the youths about the intended theft.

Per the release, they refused to reveal what was in their pockets.  One youth kicked the door and shattered the glass to leave.

Both youths were last seen running northbound on Hurd Street.  The detachment said the incident was captured on CCTV footage, and police are in the process of identifying the offenders.

Those with information are urged to contact Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, file 24-12386.
