The Brewjays emerged as the 2024 Mission Slo-Pitch champions.
The local squad finished the regular season with just one loss and 21 wins before going undefeated in the year-end tournament in July.
The Brewjays capped off five wins in the playoffs with a nailbiting victory over the Vegas Bombs. Braeden Montgomery scored the winning run in the bottom of the 7th with a close call at home.
The team is fully comprised of Mission residents. The Brewjays thanked coach Kelsey Taylor for organizing the team despite parenting three young children of her own in multiple other sports.
The Fitness Lab sponsored the local slo-pitch team and provided a special statement.
"As a gym deeply rooted in the community we were delighted to sponsor the team - many of whose members have been loyal patrons of our gym over the years. "It was the least we could do to show our appreciation for their continued support, seeing them come out victorious is a moment of immense pride for all of us." - The Fitness Lab Team.
