The Mission City Outlaws are a little over a month away from dropping the puck on a new season.
The team will open the regular season at Mission Leisure Centre against the defending champion Ridge Meadows Flames on Sept. 7 at 6:45 pm. The campaign ends with a game against Aldergrove on Feb. 8.
The season opener will serve as a rematch of last season's first-round playoff series. The Flames eliminated the Outlaws in four games last February and went on to win the PJHL title.
The 'Laws will have a three-game preseason tuneup before the regular season starts, beginning with a game against Chilliwack on Aug. 31.
Mission will open the 2024-25 season with a new bench boss after hiring David Doucette in April.
Sam Gerbrand, Carson Lane, Rylan Elson, Cade Peden, Daniel Schmidt, Layne Jenson and Cooper Crowe were all recently announced as returning to the roster for another year. Meanwhile, Jake Poblete, Sam Takahashi, Hudson Peever, Tyler Ferguson, Peter Butler, Deston Harding, Colton Collard and Carter Greenway all signed on as new commitments for 2024-25.
