Aldergrove Credit Union celebrates new Mission branch in a BIG way!

Join the Grand Opening Celebration Sept. 21 and discover offers of more than $1,450

While Mission residents have crossed the river to enjoy Aldergrove Credit Union’s services for many years, this summer has brought the community based financial institution much closer to home!

Aldergrove Credit Union, which has served Fraser Valley residents for 65 years, has opened its newest branch in Mission’s Heritage Park Marketplace, near the University of the Fraser Valley’s Mission campus, and it’s time to celebrate.

“Welcome Aldergrove Credit Union! Even though you’ve been serving our residents for a long time across the river, it’s a pleasure to see you take root in our community,” said Mayor Pamela Alexis, “you are the first credit union to locate in a residential development and you have helped us with our goal to create a complete livable community where residents can access services without a vehicle. Thank you for making this important investment, your timing is perfect.”

While the Mission Community Branch has been open since late June, a grand opening celebration is planned for Sept. 21, with residents and businesses invited to stop by for a BBQ, ice-cream, games, and a chance to win a $1,000* term deposit!

“There is an alignment of values with the Mission Community. Our heritage and culture are strong like yours, and when we saw an opportunity to be a part of this thriving community that is experiencing rapid growth, similar to our own, it felt like a natural fit,” stated Gus K. Hartl, CEO.

The new branch features an open concept designed to inspire great conversation, with service desks that allow for comfortable and personal one-on-one discussions, instead of traditional transactional-style teller wickets. The space also includes an inviting, technology-equipped meeting room available free of charge to community groups.
