The polls have just closed and Mission City Hall is quiet as a small group of people mill around waiting for the first results to be posted on the big screen.
Candidates are nowhere to be seen as almost all of them are either at home, at friends’ houses or at organized gathering with their supporters.
It’s not clear when the first results will be posted, but because Mission uses computerized voting machines, results are expected to start coming in during the first half hour.
