Big things are happening at Mission Memorial Hospital (MMH). Residents in Mission needing a CT scan are now closer than ever with the new scanner approval for MMH.

“This is a significant milestone for residents of Mission and the eastern Fraser Valley who travel to other communities to receive CT scans,” said Liz Harris executive director of Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF).

“With the support of government and our incredible donors, we look forward to having this important diagnostic technology closer to home.”

Mission All Together for Healthcare (MATH) has collaborated with FVHCF to meet the $1.3 million fundraising goal.

Following a sold-out jewelry raffle that offered a $20,000 diamond bracelet provided by Lanka Jewels in December 2021, the MATH group has launched a 50/50 Lottery.

The 50/50 has the potential to have a sold-out pot of $200,000. One lucky winner will share half of the prize with half going to support the purchase of the CT scanner.

Tickets are 3 for $5, 7 for $10, and 50 for $20 and are available online at fvhcf.ca/5050raffle.

To directly support the CT scanner for MMH or if you would like more information, or to help support your local hospital, you can do so by contacting FVHCF at 1-877-661-0314 or online at www.fvhcf.ca.
