Abbotsford, Mission places of faith hosting in-reach vaccine clinics

Pre-booked appointments at three local places of faith beginning on Saturday

Two places of worship in Abbotsford and one in Mission will be hosting in-reach vaccine clinics for pre-booked COVID-19 vaccine appointments in the next week.

These are not immunization drop-in clinics for those without appointments. They are open to anyone 12 or older. The Pfizer vaccine will be offered.

The Abbotsford Islamic Centre, located at 1980 Salton Road, hosts on Saturday (June 5) from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those who need assistance to book prior to Saturday can contact Yaqoob Shah (778-241-9966), Maulana Islammullah Kokar (604-728-0242), Talha Shah (778-347-4287), Maulana Osama Raja (604-825-9282) or Maulana Faiz Buksh (778-242-2149).

Mission Sikh Temple, located at 32086 Lougheed Highway, hosts on Tuesday (June 8) from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To book an appointment at this location, those interested can contact missionsikhtemple@hotmail.com or call Terry Gidda (604-557-3365), Balbir Grewal (604-302-1139), Sonny Rai (604-854-2828) or Kulwant Singh (604-751-3000).

Northview Community Church, located at 32040 Downes Road in Abbotsford, hosts on Thursday (June 10) from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Information to book an appointment at this location has not yet been posted.
