Mission RCMP have recovered a body that they believe is of missing Mission woman Dana Barlow.
On Sunday (Feb. 19) morning a Mission RCMP officer was flagged down by district employees along the Lougheed Highway in the Hatzic area.
The employees believed they had located the human remains of a female.
RCMP investigated the scene and quickly confirmed the report and engaged the assistance of the Coroner’s Office and the RCMP Forensics Identification Section.
The body is believed, but not confirmed to be that of Barlow, who was last seen on Nov. 3.
Police will continue to liaise with the Coroner’s Office as an autopsy is completed.
At this time, police say the death does not appear to be suspicious.
