Cascade Falls closed to vehicle traffic

Dewdney Regional Park is closed due to rising Fraser River levels.

The parking area is currently submerged, making it unsafe to launch water craft, said a Fraser Valley Regional District press release. Keeping vehicles off the parking lot when it is submerged will also protect the base of the parking lot from erosion.

The gate will remain locked until the Fraser River recedes.
